My name is Thom Waymouth and this is my blog. I am 29 years old. I consider wherever I am to be my home.
I am a dancer, a hat manipulator, a Sphere player, a poi and staff spinner, a juggler, an acro-balancer, a chess, poker and other strategy game enthusiast, a knife thrower, a singer, and a poet.
I teach flow arts, ( poi, staff, sphere, hoop), as a meditation and show people that they can do anything.
I love cooking, eating delectable foods especially sushi, climbing trees, reading, singing in the shower, playing guitar, making art with my friends, crocheting, pushing my boundaries, and learning new things.
I cultivate playfulness in myself and others!
I also am one of the producers of two extraordinary fusion festivals a year ~ Play Immersion: http://www.playimmersion.com
I relish meeting intriguing new people, especially you!
“A person’s mind may be compared to a garden, which may be intelligently cultivated or allowed to run wild. Whether the garden is cultivated or neglected, it must, and will, bring forth life. If no useful seeds are intentionally put into it, then an abundance of useless weed-seeds will unintentionally fall therein, and will continue to produce their kind.
Just as a gardener cultivates his plot, keeping it free from weeds, and growing the flowers and fruits which he prefers, so may a person tend the garden of their mind, weeding out all the unsupportive, useless, and self-limiting thoughts. By tending their thoughts they will learn to perfectly cultivate the flowers and fruits of preferred, useful, and self supporting thoughts.
By pursuing this process, a person sooner or later discovers that they are the master gardener of their soul, the director of their life. They also reveals, within themself, the laws of thought. They begin to understand, with ever-increasing accuracy, how the thought forces and mind elements operate in the shaping of their character, circumstances, and destiny.
The soul attracts that which it secretly harbors; that which it loves, and also that which it fears. It reaches the height of its cherished aspirations and it falls to the level of its unmanaged desires. Everyday circumstances and experiences are the results which the soul receives from its own creation or thought-seeds.
Every thought-seed sown or allowed to take root in the mind, produces its own kind. It blossoms sooner or later into actions and reactions, and bears its own fruit of opportunity and circumstance. Supporting thoughts bear supporting fruit, thoughts of conflict bear the fruits of conflict.
The outer world of circumstance shapes itself to the inner world of thought. Both pleasant and unpleasant external conditions are factors which contribute to the ultimate good of the individual. As the reaper of their own harvest, a person learns both by suffering and bliss.”
