My name is Thom Waymouth and this is my blog. I am 29 years old. I consider wherever I am to be my home.
I am a dancer, a hat manipulator, a Sphere player, a poi and staff spinner, a juggler, an acro-balancer, a chess, poker and other strategy game enthusiast, a knife thrower, a singer, and a poet.
I teach flow arts, ( poi, staff, sphere, hoop), as a meditation and show people that they can do anything.
I love cooking, eating delectable foods especially sushi, climbing trees, reading, singing in the shower, playing guitar, making art with my friends, crocheting, pushing my boundaries, and learning new things.
I cultivate playfulness in myself and others!

(NOT SO) TINY STORY - A NEW COLLABORATION
And now a project for everyone to get involved with:
Here begins a collaboration towards a grand-scale project for hitRECord.
Jared and I have been discussing for a long time how to combine story-telling, music and visual RECords into a momentous theatrical event. And we want to base the whole thing on a classic, timeless story. Something like Cinderella (it won’t be Cinderella) or The Odyssey.
Again, the story we seek is not tiny. Poems and fables like Poe’s Tell Tale Heart for example, are great, but too small. I’m feeling ambitious here, and want a single text that’ll take us a good portion of an evening to tell.
Of course, the first step is to decide which. So the first place we need the community’s help is with story suggestions:
Choose a classic, timeless, renowned story that’s in the public domain, and release a text RECord of its text. What’s your favorite? What would make for a good grand-scale, theatrical project? Think big!Got an idea, or three? Add to this collaboration.
Thanks!
